In continuation of the activities implemented with Regional Council Resolution no. 616 of 8 November 2016 and of the annual programming arranged in implementation of Regional Law no. 34 of 1 December 2017, with Regional Council Resolution no. 690 of 23 November 2023, recognising gender violence (particularly against women) as a serious violation of human rights, the Region of Campania undertakes to combat this social phenomenon also by contributing to spreading the culture of equal opportunities among the younger generations, making use of the great potential of the audiovisual language to disseminate it.
"C'è ancora domani" by Paola Cortellesi, in her first directing role, is the most-watched Italian film of 2023 with over 4.5 million viewers. The film, which deals with the theme of gender violence, tells of how women in the post-war period worked to support their families and suffered gender discrimination without having any awareness of their condition.
