Respect and kindness against violence

Regione Campania says "no" to bullying and launches a social challenge for schools, a cycle of informative meetings involving thousands of students and an awareness-raising campaign involving sports and entertainment personalities, including the Napoli footballer Alessio Zerbin, rapper Clementino and actor Sergio Assisi.

Bulli di sapone - Respect and Kindness against Violence is the title of the competition planned and financed by the Regione Campania, through the Scabec, aimed at primary and secondary school students in the Campania region, as part of the Regional Week against Bullying and Cyberbullying. The project envisages the implementation of a series of activities aimed at preventing acts of bullying among children, enhancing diversity, developing empathy towards others and the critical sense of children without this leading to hateful or aggressive behaviour. From 1 March, primary and secondary schools in the Campania region took part in the competition through the creation of videos and drawings to raise awareness on the issues of combating bullying and cyberbullying.

At the same time as the competition, the cycle of informative and popular meetings, both in person and online, was launched. This involved dozens of schools in Campania and thousands of students. The meetings, held by experts in the humanities, focused on the themes of racism and bullying contained in the short film Il seme della speranza - The Seed of Hope by Nando Morra, also author of the screenplay with Marta Gervasutti, produced in 2021 by Rampa Film Aps. Following this, students and teachers took part in an open discussion with the director and cast.

Finally, on 7 February, the awareness-raising campaign kicked off in collaboration with SSC Napoli and with testimonial Alessio Zerbin, 23-year-old footballer of the Italian national team and Italian champion Azzurri, who is followed by the very young on social networks. Zerbin's voice was joined by those of influencers, tiktokers and personalities from the world of sport and entertainment, including the rapper Clementino, the actor Sergio Assisi, the singer-songwriter Maurizio Capone, the singers Flo and Dario Sansone, the director and actor Nando Morra, some of the protagonists of the most clicked videos on social networks such as Fernanda Pinto of Casa Surace, Stefania Bendato, Ludovica Tomasoni, Gaetano Balestra, Marianna Diletto, and other protagonists of Italy's most beloved sport such as the goalkeeper of the U. S. Salernitana 1919 goalkeeper Luigi Sepe.
BULLI DI SAPONE - Respect and Kindness against Violence is a project realised in collaboration with the Regional School Office, the Corecom Campania, the Regional Youth Forum, the Regional Forum of School Parents' Associations and the Agency for Childhood and Adolescence.
